This is my last free weekend until mid-September, and there are still many boxes that need to be emptied and many more to be recycled. Hopefully I’ll get those out and my apartment organized before Mark comes down in two weeks. He’ll get to fight Maya for the couch though, she’s taken to lying on the middle cushion.
Mel and I had great success in shopping today and I got Jen’s wedding present (only a week to spare!) hopefully she’ll enjoy the new additions to her kitchen. I also picked up a new game – Yamodo which looks like much fun, so locals — we’ll have to get together soon to play!
Tokyo Godfathers is also being shown on Ovation this week. So if you haven’t seen it yet… get to it!
Oh! And there’s a new thing on the comment box down there – you can enter your name in as usual, but you can also use an openID instead of your email to identify yourself. WordPress.com and Livejournal.com blogs both work as an openID, just enter the address in the box (minus the http://) and you’ll be good to go. You’ll have to log in if you aren’t already.

SPEAKING OF GAME NIGHT! if it’s okay with the group at large, i’d like to invite my coworker friend april and her hubby josh when we do have this. for some reason, they seem to think we’re cool people.
