Had my meeting with Ken today to go over my thesis. Much better than the last meeting. Much better. The last time he didn’t even read my third chapter, threw out my idea for that completely and asked me to do a literature review theoretical type paper instead. So I did. He basically said “holy crap” and said it was just a smidge too much, move it around and solidify it a bit more. But, he said it had good direction and that my second chapter was great aside from a few things to fix.
Score.
Now to finish those corrections, get those out to the rest of my committee and defend in a month or so. Scary.
Things are back to “normal-ish”. I do feel terrible for my mom though. She was more worried about being there for my aunt than herself and I think things finally hit her yesterday. Hope work went well for her (she works at CVS) and not too many people asked questions. It looks like they’re putting together a scholarship in Tommy’s honor, so waiting to hear back about that.

Not sure! They might not have gotten the ok for it and decided to go with the scholarship instead.
